“EVERY MOUNTAIN TOP IS WITHIN REACH, IF YOU JUST KEEP CLIMBING” - BARRY FINLAND
Ever since I was small have always loved to climb and hike. It was one thing my family did together growing up, just hiking together. Hiking and rock climbing has just been something I grew to love, and when I moved to Mexico I found myself blessed to be surrounded by many mountains. I had never climbed a mountain before Mexico but since moving here I have made it a tradition to try to climb a mountain at the end/start of each season of my life.
I love mountains because they are like a beautiful physical representation of each season in life. Some mountains are easy to climb, they are fast, enjoyable, with good company and just full of beautiful views. Some mountains take longer to climb and require more endurance. While others are really hard, you fall, you wanna quit, you need to stop a lot. But each mountain has a few things in common.
-
If you don’t quit you will be rewarded with more then you expected or could get from the bottom.
-
Each comes with its own lessons to learn even the easy ones.
-
Each climb makes you stronger then before and the feeling of accomplishment when you reach the top.
See mountains are like the seasons in our lives, and each season is special, unique and purposeful. So dare to climb and not give up.
Faith Can Move Mountains
“20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your [a]unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
(Matthew 17:20)
